We are glad you stopped to take a peek! We are a small business, concentrating on events and weddings, and also happy to make arrangements for your special occasions or times of sympathy.
Our feel is organic, just picked, flowing, mossy, lots of green….you get the picture. We are always putting on the brakes and hopping out of the car to cut some special flower, branch or vine. The highlight of the spring is when the southern peonies begin to poke out of the ground.
Each of our arrangements is unique. We like cool stuff! So, whenever possible, we will use a vintage vase or bowl, insert some just picked leaves or put in a funky branch.
We deliver locally to businesses and homes in the Franklin area and also to Nashville/Franklin funeral homes and hospitals. Since each arrangement is created with you in mind, please order 24 hours in advance.

“Suzanne was recommended to me by a good friend and former co-worker. I was living in Los Angeles planning our wedding in Tennessee, so I had no opportunity to meet with her in person prior to the wedding. I saw photos of her work on Instagram and liked what I saw very much.
We hired her to dress the arch for our wedding, create the bridal bouquet and create the centerpieces for our reception tables. It was a small, intimate backyard wedding. I explained to her in as much detail as I could over email, phone and texts what I wanted and I hoped for the best.
The day of the wedding she arrived and I was simply blown away. It was exactly what I wanted and even a little of what I didn’t know I wanted. I had requested white flowers with lots of green so as to look more organic and natural, which is what Suzanne delivered.
The wrought iron arch was transformed and looked absolutely stunning. The bridal bouquet was larger than I expected but I quickly realized that I was so grateful it was. It looked amazing in the photos and it was perfect in front of my simple dress.
The centerpieces were just what I asked for, driftwood boxes with beautiful white florals, greens and a hurricane glass with a citronella candle to help with the lighting and the bugs in the yard.
I received numerous compliments that night and I’m forever grateful my friend referred me to Suzanne.
I would recommend her for any type of event as she clearly has a gift.”

“I had the most amazingly talented florist, but more so than that, my florist had an incredible heart and kindness. I had never met her before our first appointment, but quickly it felt like I’d known her forever.
She was delightful to work with, creative and had such integrity in her work. Many people do great at their jobs, even delivering expectations, but few exceed what is expected of them – that is what Suzanne at Farmhouse Floral Studio delivered.
She not only accomplished my vision, but surpassed it. She went above and beyond to be sure her work was exceptional. I simply cannot recommend her enough. Thank you so much!”

Ceremony flowers will usually include one large centerpiece or two smaller centerpieces. If it is an outdoor ceremony, many brides incorporate arbors with floral swags or covered completely with flowers. Brides often like adornments on the pews such as a hydrangea, simple greenery or even just a pretty silk bow.
Candles create a beautiful, cozy atmosphere and are often incorporated either on the platform area, down the aisles, or both.
It can be daunting trying to figure out everything you will need from the florist. Attached is a checklist to help you get started and it is a great place for us to begin planning for all your floral needs. Brides will email this back to me, I will go over it and start a file. At that point, we will set up a time to meet in person.

One of the first things I had to learn when I started doing wedding flowers was how to spell boutonniere. Guys don’t just get a little carnation anymore. Their flowers are as handsome as they are with unique flowers, berries, feathers and grasses. The groom’s boutonniere is usually a little different and matches his tie. Grandfathers, ring bearers, clergy and ushers all usually get a boutonniere.
